Breaking News In Apple Valley

So... I've been slowly wasting away these past few months... (I'm sure I haven't mentioned that before, ha)...

ANYHOOT. I don't really have a goal weight in mind, Im just pluggin along, doin my thing, trying to be the best me. The pounds have stopped 'melting' off... now they are kind of more like 'trickling' away slowly but surely, but its enough to keep me motivated at the moment.

With that said as you can imagine, I'm having a bit of a wardrobe crisis. I started at size 16. When I got to size 10, I figured I earned the right to a few new staple items (jeans can only be worn so baggy before gangstas on the streets start throwing up their signs as you pass by, ya know?).

Now, my 10 stuff has gotten pretty loose...

I know, disgusting. I sound like the girls I used to hate right now, but GOOORSH DURRRNIT, I think I've earned it...

Anyways... I went to Goodwill this afternoon with the munchkins after everyone left for the day, and scored myself...

Are you ready for this?

No, really, get ready...

BRAND new...

GAP denim capris...

In a size.....

SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fit like a glove (even the length, which is also a miracle).

WAAAAAAHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I immediately called all the skinny bitches who've been my 'coach' type figures along the way... I really have had a whole force of people be so super encouraging and motivating and just all together kind, I don't know if I could have kept going without all the workout buddies and hand holding and inspiration that my girlfriends (and Mom) have shown me. Tyson has also been really understanding and accommodating in all my new crazy habits. Regular exercise takes a huge chunk of precious time out of your life, you know? Sheesh.

So anyways. Yah, this pair of capris are kind of a milestone for me. I don't EVER remember being a size 6. EVER. I'm excited.

Can you tell?

I got all dressed up in them, took a bunch of awkward pictures of myself, and totally chickened out on posting them. Sorry. It feels weird.

So yah... If you wanna see them... guess you'll just have to invite me out on the town so you can show me off!

HELLLOOOOO, WORLD!

(Too bad mothers of toddlers so rarely see day light. Oh, the cruel irony of it all...)

Also, I just ordered this book off Amazon.com... borrow it from me:

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
Hurray for you!
I know that feeling well....
Don't worry about everything slowing down...I worked out for a year, consitently losing weight, and the last few weeks it's gotten a lot harder, but I have found out that I've lost inches, so you may not realized good things are still happening even when they are.
I promise even if you keep going past that plateu, it's totally worth it. I can't stop looking at your myspace photos...you are SO hot:)

No, seriously, I was telling Stephanie when I saw her pictures from when you guys went wine tasting with Austin and Tiffany Cagle and how HOT you looked in jeans. I hadn't seen you in anything form fitting for quite awhile and I was AMAZED at how skinny you were looking then. I am so proud of you and I think you have every right in the world to be so proud of yourself. And of course the last little bit of weight to lose is the hardest. But I know you'll press on and we will all lovingly (or not so lovingly, who knows :) refer to you as the "skinny bitch" behind your back... ;)

awe, thanks guys.
loosing the last 15lbs is seriously like a cruel cosmic joke... but i feel SOOOO much better.
and... i could think of worse things to be called behind my back or not! but if you want to know the ACTUAL truth... buy me a drink and try to talk me into getting naked... because trust me, theres still tons of room to improve! ;)
